Dr Belle Picco
Osteopath
B.Hlth.Sc./B.App.Sc (Osteopathy)
Belle’s desire to become an osteopath began at an early age when she sustained a sporting injury playing basketball. After trying multiple modalities with no luck, she saw an osteopath who helped her get back on the basketball court in no time. It’s that desire to help people back to their Peak that drives Belle’s Osteopathic work.
Immediately after that, Belle was inspired to pursue osteopathy to help others with their injuries and relief of pain, in the same way that she was helped.
Belle has previously worked with the Hawthorn Amateur Football Club as well as Mount District Netball Association and subsequently been exposed to a wide array of injuries. This experience has prompted Belle’s passion for getting her patients back to their optimal selves in as little time as possible. Belle believes the best way to achieve this is to work alongside her patients to develop a tailored treatment plan, incorporating hands on techniques, dry needling and rehabilitation programs.
In her spare time Belle enjoys Pilates, basketball and has recently discovered a love for skiing. She also loves cooking for and spending time with her family and friends.
